After a busy couple of months we are back with our first post of 2012 :)… We have just had some fun in the studio shooting a new and unusual designer range of boxers modelled by Fred our resident male mannequin, if he had a head I’m sure he would have been smiling too!!

Tuesday 22nd, 5.45PM, M1, J14, yes we were stuck on a closed motorway with an event in Leicester we had arranged to be at by 6.30pm to start capturing some detail shots of the setup before guests arrive at 7pm! What hair I had was now on the floor of the car after it had taken us one hour to travel one mile! After a little luck slipping into a convoy of motorists using a free lane on the left :| I managed to leave the congested road of hell and make haste through the twisties!!
When we arrived we had to de-holster the cameras and get straight into shooting. All ended well with some fab pics of the guests and awards.
Pic above is of Magician Nigel Mead who was also stuck in the same jam on the M1, looks as though there is a limit to what magic can accomplish! :)

With all the excitement of the forthcoming 2012 UK Olympic games, ACE had the opportunity to shoot the last UK Olympic torch from way back in 1948! Coca-Cola kindly brought the 1948 torch along (that is now owned by them) for a guest photo opportunity that ACE captured…

ACE has just returned from covering a European conference for a global restaurant chain. As the saying goes When in Rome do as the Romans so check out the pasta, pizza and sights… Well we did just that one evening at a fabulous little restaurant right next door to the Colosseum.
